- Phase I : concerns the minimum requierements. It indicates that the product includes IPv6 mandatory core protocols and can interoperate with other IPv6 implementations on basic aspects.
- Phase II : involves some more complete requierements. It ensures interoperability and
conformance according to the IPv6 technical standards. Currently, this phase II distinguishes the following test profiles:
- IPv6 Core Protocol
- Mobile IPv6
- IPsec
- NEMO
- DHCPv6
- SIP
- ...
- Phase III : makes IPsec mandatory.
I took part into this Program between 2003 and 2006 as European technical referent in :
- the definition of Interoperability and Conformance test specifications for IPv6 and associated Mechanisms (Meetings in Washington DC 2003, Santa Monica 2004, Chiba 2005, 2006, Durham New Hampshire 2005 ...)
- the test results analyse of IPv6 European stacks in order to deliver them an IPv6 Logo.
